The AMD Athlon 3000G is based on the 14 nm “Raven Ridge” architecture which is used in the 1st generations of AMD Ryzen processor category. The Athlon 3000G is a 2-core/4-thread CPU with a 3.50 GHz clock speed which is 300mhz much higher than the recently released Athlon 200GE and it also has 512 KB of dedicated L2 cache and shares 4 MB of L3 cache and lastly, a Radeon Vega 3 integrated graphics embedded with 192 cores with a clock speed of 1.1 GHz which is overclocked 100mhz more from the original of 1GHz clock speed of the Radeon Vega 3. The Athlon 3000G operates with the same 35w TDP of the 200GE.
So far, this is the best Budget processor for the Athlon Series specially for those who want to build a new Setup for their Office together with at least 8 Gigs of ram with SSD this should be able to do your office works and some gaming stuff.
We’d tested the AMD Athlon 3000G using Cinebench R20 and PCMark 10 and here’s the result:
- Best for Budget PC Building
- Has decent performance for its price range
- Low Power Consumption
- Uses 14nm Architecture instead of newer Ryzen Architectures
The AMD Athlon 3000G is great for budget-limited PC Builders that want to save money as the 3000G features an integrated graphics which is the Radeon Vega 3. Although it can’t perform well at 1080p gaming, lowering down the resolution to 720p can maximize the performance of the Vega 3 to give you more FPS and can do its job done for tight-budgeted PC gamers.
