HyperX Cloud PS4 Edition Quick Review

HyperX is known for providing one of the most anticipated headsets and their best weapon to conquer the headset market is the HyperX Cloud Series Headsets. Today, we’re going to review one of the newest headsets in the Cloud Series Lineup, the HyperX Cloud PS4 Edition.

Out of the box, you will get the following:

-HyperX Cloud PS4 Edition

-Detachable Microphone

-User Manual

-Technical Support Contact Card

The HyperX Cloud PS4 Edition provides excellent comfort even when you play for a long time and you will get the exclusive PlayStation scheme on the headset itself because usually, the HyperX Cloud Series Headset features a Black & Red Color Scheme.

The build quality is excellent and the frame is made of aluminum which is a good thing. The Quality of the Audio produced by the headset is also excellent and you can feel the music is not irritating to hear. Another thing I noticed is the included detachable microphone.

The audio quality of the included microphone is superb, the noise cancellation works great and the sound quality it captures is also great. Of course, if the mic is detachable then there’s a dedicated socket in the headset.

The HyperX Cloud PS4 Edition has a volume control and a switch to turn on & off the microphone and the wires of the Cloud PS4 Edition is braided so it won’t loose easily and the jack is also gold plated.

For the microphone, It is great that the mic is detachable so you can remove it when you’re playing and you don’t want to use the mic. The HyperX Cloud PS4 Edition also comes with a cover for the dedicated microphone socket so if the microphone is not inserted, there will not be some sort of dirt or dust that will be stuck inside the socket.
