HyperX Cloudbuds Review

Are you a Mobile or Nintendo Switch Gamer that wants the best quality of in-game sound? Today we’re going to review the latest Earbuds released by HyperX, the HyperX Cloud Earbuds.

What’s in the Box:

  • HyperX Cloud Earbuds
  • Hardcase
  • 2 Pairs extra Eartips

Design

HyperX is impressive when it comes to their design on audio devices and one example is the Cloud Earbuds, the design is simple and gamer-realistic which is excellent because some people don’t want exaggerated designs on their Earbuds or Headphones.

The Red and Black themed gives off a gamer look and the HyperX logo at the back of the Earbuds looks good too.

Build Quality

The HyperX Cloud Earbuds is made-up of rubber and silicon and the quality is great. As for the Cable, it is long enough and has a flat design which is excellent because the cables won’t get tangled easily.

The ear tips of the Cloud Earbuds are made of rubber and it has an oval shaped design opposite to the usual round shaped ear tips.

Comfortability

The ear tips feel comfortable and you can use different sizes of ear tips out of the box according to what fits best in your ears. The ear tip comes with small and large sizes and the medium is fitted directly to the earbuds out of the box.

It won’t give you fatigue even when playing for long hours and it will not fall easily as there is a kind of rubber to support the earbuds and prevent it from falling so you don’t have to worry about it falling from your ears.

Sound

We’d tried the Cloud Earbuds on my smartphone while playing PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends, it produces clear and crisp sound and you can hear the footsteps, gunshots, explosion clearly and you can determine the direction of where it came from.

When using higher volumes, it still gives off excellent audio quality and it will not give you a distorted sound.

Microphone

The microphone produces superb quality and it doesn’t record too much noise even when recording in a strident environment.

The microphone is in-line with the cable and it is placed pretty high than the usual placements of an in-line microphone.
