Thermaltake is a manufacturer of PC chassis, power supplies, cooling devices, and peripherals. Its main headquarters is located in Taipei, Taiwan. Thermaltake was founded in Taiwan in 1999. Its American headquarters was established at the same time with offices in Southern California.
The box of Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 850w indicates that it offers patented RGB fan, Smart Zero Fan, fully-modular cables, Japanese capacitors and a 7-year warranty from Thermaltake. Also, the power supply has an 80 Plus Bronze efficiency. At the back of the box, it states all the main features of the power supply, connector specification, and output.
The PSU includes the warranty, manuals, a bag of modular cables, power cord, screws and the bare power supply unit. The PSU is safely wrapped inside a bubble bag and the modular cables are placed inside a carrying/storage pouch.
Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB built is very solid. You can see the model name, power output, and the 80 Plus Bronze certification logo on two stickers placed on the sides of the chassis. The unit’s electrical table is printed on a large sticker placed at the base part and has a Tt Riing 14 RGB Static Pressure 140mm fan. Also, the modular cables are shown where to properly connect your cables. The Smart Pro RGB power supply has a Smart Zero fan technology. When it is on, the fan does not operate at low loads and if it is off it will turn into silent fan operation.
